Anchorage engagement photographer.
I loved this classic Alaskan engagement session in the snow and ice. Downtown Anchorage holds the beautiful coastal views with the convenience of local shops, so we ended the day with Wild Scoops handcrafted ice cream. Of course we went for the famous Sitka Swirl made with caramel and AK sea salt. Love and life is sweet!
Pro Tip: When braving a winter photo shoot, bring those layers! You can always take a bulky coat off between shots, but it’s essential to stay comfotable to look your best. Hand and foot warmers are your hidden best friend too. In this case, ice cleats don’t hurt either. While I would normally suggest a hot beverage at the end of a cold session, Alaskans are tough and we love our ice cream!
