The Gathering Place is my favorite venue in Alaska and autumn my favorite season, so this wedding takes the cake best of 2018. Not to mention we had the most gorgeous fall colors and unusually warm temperatures to really show it off. Golden hour may be the norm for lower 48 weddings, but we wait patiently for it in the land of the midnight sun. All I can say is it’s worth the wait! I’m so happy these two got such a perfect sunset and were able to sneak away from the reception for a bit to enjoy it as husband and wife.
This modern and elegant venue perfectly matched Nick & Chelsea’s style, topped off with her off-shoulder THEIA gown. Who else is swooning? The bride and I instantly bonded over a love of all things BHLDN, so I was over the moon seeing all their details she included. See if you can spot them.
