Kauai Elopement Photographer | Shipwreck Beach and Queen’s Bath, Kauai

Destination

Kauai elopement photographer.

I am not a morning person, but when I’m in Hawaii I find myself waking for sunrise instinctively. It’s cool, quiet, and the most epic of views only for those who make the effort. Justin and Whitney are as in love with the islands and I am, so we woke up at 4 am to get to this spot by dawn. As soon as we saw those colors reflect on the water we knew it was worth it. Sunset too has its own romantic charm not to be missed. Even though it meant hiking back with flashlights, we couldn’t resist staying out until the very last light of day. From sunrise to sunset it was filled with adventure and incredible beauty.

Pro Tip: Arrive at least 15 minutes before sunrise to your location. You don’t want to miss those first moments of soft light!
