Girdwood wedding photographer.
For an Alaskan photographer, it doesn’t get much better than Girdwood. It has it all-waterfalls, fields, mountaintops, and Turnagain Arm at its entrance. This wedding began with a romantic first look amongst the mountains and fields. Lets talk first looks. I’m not knocking the traditional isle walk, but when I see these photos I’m reminded why I adore private first looks as an alternative. Quiet moments are hard to come by on a wedding day, which is why I recommend taking a few to yourself. Clear the room to put on your gown with your mom or closest maid. Steal a moment to see your reception before it’s open to guests. And first look or not, plan for 15 minutes to spend just the two of you.
Jimmy & Kelsey took their time and read personal notes to each other. It was a joy to capture these tender moments between them from afar. Their bridal party caught up with us soon after, and then we headed to their Alyeska Resort ceremony. Girdwood Wedding Photographer.
