Barbara Falls wedding.
You might picture mountains for an Alaskan wedding, but this adventuous couple wanted to also include a nearby waterfall. We took a break from the festivities to hike out for some intimate portrait time; and all dressed in white our bride climbed down the muddy mountain! Don’t worry she didn’t have a spec of dirt on her, just a fantastically unique experience in her wedding dress. We later learned you can get to the waterfall without having to scale a mountain…but where’s the fun in that?
Pro Tip: Avoid the wedding day weather report! Especially in Alaska, it’s ever changing and unpredictable. The morning of, it was pouring rain like a hurricane coming through. But long before the ceremony ever began the sun made its way out and never left again. Even had it not, our couple was just happy it was their wedding day. Leave worry out of your wedding day and you may just be pleasantly surprised.
